At Amshan Studio & Boutique, we offer two flexible payment options for children's book illustration: a royalty-based model or a one-time buyout fee. Both packages include everything you need to publish a beautifully illustrated children's book.

1) Royalty-Based Model (Lower Upfront Cost)

  • Upfront Fee: Starting at $1,500 (Covers all illustrations, cover design, and formatting)

  • Royalty Rate: 10% of book sales (Paid quarterly)

  • Illustrator retains rights to artwork but grants the author a license to use it for publishing.

  • Best for: Self-published authors looking for a lower initial investment.

2) Buyout Model (Full Rights, No Royalties)

  • One-Time Fee: Starting at $5,000 (Covers all illustrations, cover design, and formatting)

  • No royalties required – the author owns 100% of the artwork and all publishing rights.

  • Best for: Authors who want full ownership and control of their book illustrations.
